Back to school – a chance to develop your skills

Late August is a time for planning how to develop the skills needed to make career progress or achieve personal goals. Here’s a chance to learn some skills that countless people have found useful:

  • In boosting their personal effectiveness
  • In learning how to read, understand and remember more
  • In studying more efficiently
  • In making the right impact when writing business documents.

Open workshops – the opportunity to learn from an expert

This is an opportunity to learn Mind Mapping, speed reading and business writing from one of the UK’s top presenters. Author and trainer Jane Smith was trained by the Buzan organisation and has many years’ experience of delivering workshops to different groups. She has worked with universities & colleges, financial institutions, service and manufacturing industries, government departments, local authorities, NGOs & other public sector bodies.

We know times are tough – so our 2012 open course rates are more competitive than ever. Because all our workshops are very interactive events where everyone gets fully involved, places are limited – so get in touch soon.

When and where?

The venue for our autumn programme is the Regus Conference Centre, Temple Meads, Bristol – which is next to the main Bristol rail station – Temple Meads.

  • Speed Read Your Way to Success: 4 October 2012
  • Mind Mapping for Memory and Creative Thinking: 25 October 2012
  • Effective Business Writing: 13 November 2012
  • Managing Information Effectively with Mind Mapping & Speed Reading: 22 November 2012

We run the workshops in Bristol because it easily accessible for people based anywhere from London, the South-West, Wales and the West Midlands. But do let us know if you would like us to organise an event in your local area. We may be able to do so if you have just a few friends or colleagues who would like to do the training with you.

The cost per delegate for each of these full-day events is £135 + VAT – and we give a discount of 10% for bookings of more than one person. This includes course materials and refreshments (but not lunch – many people prefer to bring their own food, but there are excellent cafes and takeaways near the conference centre where you can buy snacks).

Hope to see you there!
